Error code BR-CL-23
A unit of measure code is not allowed
Unit codes (e.g. for quantities) must come from the official UN/ECE Recommendation 20 and 21 lists.
The official rule
“Unit code MUST be coded according to the UN/ECE Recommendation 20 with Rec 21 extension”
Official text, in the language the rule set publishes it in.
Common causes
- A unit was written in words ("hours", "pcs") instead of a code.
- Your software uses its own unit names.
How to fix it
- Map your units to the official codes, e.g. C62 (piece), HUR (hour), KGM (kilogram).
