Why did I receive an XML file instead of a PDF?
E-invoices are made for accounting software to read automatically, so they are sent as structured files, usually XML. This viewer shows the same information as a normal invoice.
Is this view, or the PDF I save from it, the invoice?
No. The e-invoice is the file you received; this page only shows its contents in a readable way. Ask your accountant how to keep e-invoices for your records.
Can I pay from this screen?
No. The bank account and payment reference are shown under the payment details; use them in your own banking app.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Your browser reads the file on your own computer. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else, and the viewer keeps working with your internet switched off once the page has loaded.
The viewer shows an error. What now?
The file may be damaged, in a format we don’t support yet, or not an invoice at all. Ask the sender to check the file or send it again.
