A Belgian enterprise number is not valid
A Belgian enterprise number used as an identifier must be written in the correct format, with correct check digits.

“Belgian enterprise number MUST be stated in the correct format.”

Common causes
- A typo in the company number, often a swapped digit.
- Dots, spaces or the letters BE left in the number.
- The VAT number was entered where the enterprise number is expected.

- Copy the number from the official company register and write it as digits only.
